KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Thursday include Apex Healthcare, Kobay, ELK-Desa Resources, Samaiden, AWC, Perdana Petroleum and Gabungan AQRS, said Apex Research.

Apex Healthcare Bhd said its 3Q22 net profit surged 91.87% YoY to RM26.88 million.

Amway’s net profit for3Q22 jumped 135.6% YoY to RM18.75 million.

Kobay posted an 8.18% rise in its net profit to RM10.52 million for 1QFY23.

Elk-Desa Resources Bhd’s net profit for 2QFY23 more than doubled YoY to RM11.53 million.

Samaiden Group Bhd said its net profit rose 18.02% to RM2.44 million for 1QFY23.

Perdana Petroleum's net profit more than tripled YoY in 3Q22 to RM11.41 million.

AWC Bhd has secured a RM188.31 million contract to provide hospital support services for the National Cancer Institute.

Gabungan AQRS Bhd has entered into a joint development agreement with PR1MA Corporation Malaysia to develop a residential project in Kuantan, Pahang, with an estimated GDV of RM335.95 million.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could pull back to the support at 1,408 points following the decline on Wall Street.

The US market declined overnight following concerns over consumer spending after Target's sales declined.

Earlier, European stocks plunged on geopolitical tension after Poland's missile incident.
