KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks that could see price movements on Friday include Gamuda, Poh Huat, Aeon Credit Service, Hiap Teck, Scientex, Gadang, KNM, Heng Huat and UEM Edgenta, said Apex Research.

Gamuda Bhd said its net profit increased 19.89% YoY to RM255.24 million for 4QFY22.

Poh Huat Resources Holdings Bhd’s net profit for 3QFY22 jumped 64.2% YoY to RM22.04 million.

AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd's net profit was little changed for 2QFY23.

Hiap Teck Venture Bhd’s net profit dropped 59% YoY to RM24.48 million for 4QFY22.

Scientex Bhd's net profit declined 12.4% YoY to RM124.98 million in 4QFY22.

Gadang Holdings Bhd has won a RM188.8 million contract from the Public Works Department (JKR) to design and build the National Forensic Medicine Institute at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

KNM Group Bhd has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract worth RM25.69 million from Petronas Gas Bhd (PetGas).

Heng Huat Resources Bhd received a notice of mandatory takeover offer from two substantial shareholders.

UEM Edgenta Bhd is investing RM13.5 million for a 60% equity interest in a facilities management services business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could extend its losses towards the support of 1,394 points following the recent bearish momentum.

The US market tumbled overnight due to ongoing fears of recession and interest rate hikes.

Similarly, European stocks plunged after the Bank of England's bond buying plan and stimulus measures failed to calm the market.
