Malaysia's official reserve assets at US$108.2bil as at end-August

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s official reserve assets amounted to US$108.24 billion (US$1=RM4.635) as at end-August 2022, in accordance with the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standard (IMF SDDS) format.

In an explanatory note released today, called "Detailed Disclosure of International Reserves as at end-August 2022”, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said other foreign currency assets stood at US$5.3 million.
