SDP’s new industrial products achieve 100% take-up rate

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property Bhd (SDP) has achieved 100% take-up for its Twin Factories 3 and Detached Factories 1 in Elmina Business Park during their launch.

With a combined gross development value (GDV) of RM213mil, the factories are located within the 1,500-acre Elmina Business Park in Sungai Buloh, SDP said in a statement.

Chief executive officer - property development Ir. Mohd Sohimin Mohd Alayedin said the achievement was down to its efforts to deliver products that cater to various purchaser types, including business owners, service providers and investors.

“The impressive take-up for these products shows what can be realised through the right product offering, with the right design and price points. Elmina Business Park offers versatility for businesses of any scale with options that range from ready-built factories to customisable built-to-lease industrial properties.

“Business owners appreciate the practical tri-functional design of our factories that offers them a concierge area, unobstructed warehouse and office space in one building,” he added.

The Twin Factories 3 comprises 24 units of 120’ x 200’ semi-detached units with a spacious built-up of 13,663 sq ft priced from RM8.08mil while the Detached Factories 1 has four 120’ x 215’ detached units with a built-up of 11,942 sq ft, priced at RM8.38mil.

SDP said the factories are equipped with pre-allocated spaces for solar panels, efficient warehousing with multiple loading bays, concrete driveways with dedicated parking bays, high warehouse ceilings with a minimum of 9 metres in height and customisable floor loading, starting from 15kN/m.
