Trading ideas: Yinson, YNH Property, KTB, Careplus, Thriven


KUALA LUMPUR: Apex Securities expects Yinson Holdings Bhd, YNH Property Bhd, Konsortium Transnasional Bhd (KTB), Careplus Group Bhd and Thriven Global Bhd t be among the stocks to watch on Friday.

Yinson’s net profit in 2QFY23 rose 13.49% YoY to RM143mil.

YNH proposes an asset-backed securitisation exercise to raise up to RM500mil fresh capital.

KTB’s unit has bagged a building work contract worth RM109.61mil for an apartment project in Hulu Kinta, Perak.

Careplus has filed an application to strike out Petrolife Aero Sdn Bhd’s writ of summons and statement of claim seeking RM27.08mil.

Thriven is acquiring 4,700 sq metres of freehold land in Butterworth that has been approved for the development of serviced apartments for RM21mil.

Overnight, the US market declined overnight after rising bond yields and heightened concerns over a global recession.

Similarly, European stocks tumbled after central banks in Switzerland and England raised interest rates.

“Following the negative sentiment in global markets, the FBM KLCI could extend its selldown towards the support of 1,425 points,” Apex said.
