KTB secures RM109.61mil earthworks contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Konsortium Transnasional Bhd’s (KTB) wholly-owned subsidiary Transnational Builder Sdn Bhd has secured a contract worth RM109.61mil from Maju Teluk Batik Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, KTB said the contract was for piling work, earthworks and building work (Apartment B & C) (Carpark 2) of mixed development at Bandar Meru Raya, Perak.

The whole of the works shall be completed within 36 months from the date of commencement on Jan 1, 2023.

KTB expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023 and onwards.
