SKP’s MD Gan passes away

PETALING JAYA: SKP Resources Bhd has announced that its executive chairman-cum-managing director Datuk Gan Kim Huat has passed away. He was 74.

The company said Gan had over 30 years of experience in plastics injection moulding and was a well-known entrepreneur in the local plastics industry.

“On behalf of the SKP Group, the board expresses its deepest sorrow on the passing of Gan and conveys its deepest condolences to his family. The board also expresses its deepest gratitude for the enormous contribution to the group by Gan over the years.

“The board therefore remains confident of the management’s ability to continue with the group’s business as usual,” it said in a statement.
