EWI likely to delay launches planned in FY22

PETALING JAYA: Eco World International Bhd (EWI) is likely to delay its launches planned for the financial year ending Oct 31, 2022 (FY22) to FY23, as it is relooking at the viability of the projects due to rising construction costs.

In a report, CGS-CIMB Research said the projects that will be potentially delayed include EWI’s Woking, Oxbow and Kew Bridge with a total gross development value (GDV) of €350mil (RM1.58bil), €120mil (RM542.92mil) and €240mil (RM1.09bil), respectively.
