Perdana Petroleum bags RM6mil contract from PETRONAS Carigali


KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Petroleum Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB) has received a RM6mil work order from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Perdana said the contract is for the provision of one unit of anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessel.

The contract had commenced on July 15 and is for a duration of up to 90 days from the commencement date.

PNSB shall provide the AHTS vessel with crews and equipment to perform 24-hour services for assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installation, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Perdana group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022,” it said.
