Trading ideas: Inta Bina, Enra, Hartalega, Farm Fresh, Careplus

KUALA LUMPUR: Apex Securities expects Inta Bina Group Bhd, Enra Group Bhd, Hartalega Holdings Bhd, Farm Fresh Bhd and Careplus Group Bhd to be among the stocks to watch on Friday.

Inta Bina won a RM137.8mil construction contract from SDB Properties Sdn Bhd, a unit of Selangor Dredging Bhd.

Enra Group Bhd has bagged a contract worth US$4.39mil for the provision of condensate storage, offloading facilities and services for Yetagun offshore operations in Myanmar.

Hartalega has slowed down its plant expansion as the company still sees an oversupply of gloves in the market.

Farm Fresh said it is "still very profitable" with a gross profit margin at above 26% despite contending with profit compression of about 3% due to costlier grain, fuel and transportation.

Careplus has received a writ of summons and statement of claim amounting to RM27.08mil by Petrolife Aero Sdn Bhd due to an alleged breach of agreement relating to the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Meanwhile, the US market was flat overnight with the Dow and S&P inching up while the Nasdaq declined slightly as investors waited for August's job report later today.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 0.46% to 31,656.42, S&P 500 rallied 0.3% to 3,966.85 and Nasdaq Composite fell 0.26% to 11,785.13.

Earlier, European stocks tumbled due to lingering fears of interest rate hike and economic slowdown.

“Following the mixed performance in Wall Street, the FBM KLCI could take a breather and consolidate above the support of 1,475 points,” Apex said.
