MAHB, Capital A drop legal proceedings

SEPANG: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), its subsidiary, Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd and Capital A Bhd (formerly known as AirAsia Group Bhd) have dropped the legal proceedings between all parties.

In a joint statement, MAHB managing director Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood confirmed that all parties are dropping proceedings.

He said there are no longer any legal proceedings or material litigation from MAHB against AirAsia Bhd/AirAsia X Bhd (AAX).

“We believe that close collaboration with all stakeholders within the aviation ecosystem is key in propelling us towards growth for both the industry and the country.

“We are committed towards working together for the mutual benefit and success of all the aviation stakeholders i.e. airlines, airports, passengers and the industry,” Iskandar said.
