A total of 23 companies win global business leadership awards

Among the winners, AEON Co (M) Bhd was recognised for its Halal Certified Food Outlets while Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Bhd was recognised for its excellence in Takaful insurance services.

A total of 23 companies were conferred with the Global Business Leadership Awards 2022 (GBLA) and Global Halal Excellence Awards 2022 (GHEA) recently.

Organised by Asia Pacific Business Council, the awards recognised individuals and organisations who excel in business and corporate sustainability leadership and adhere to the halal business principals, giving them competitive advantage.

Presenting the award was Boustead Holdings Bhd chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof, who is also formerly Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Bernama reported.

Among the winners, Aeon Co (M) Bhd was recognised for its Halal Certified Food Outlets while Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Bhd was recognised for its excellence in Takaful insurance services.

Other recipients included Dwi Makmur Food Sdn Bhd, Blue Ocean Capital Group Bhd, Bubble Gum X Sdn Bhd, Wilstech Sdn Bhd and Litecard Pty Ltd for leadership, business growth and corporate sustainability.

GBLA represents the most prestigious form of recognition for companies or organisations globally, while GHEA represents the most prestigious form of recognition for leaders and organisations globally who have performed and contributed to the growth of the global halal economy.

Both awards build on the platform of sustainable development goals, which are held in high esteem by the private sector in their own right. GHEA aims to be the leading regional award to promote prominent halal brands and businesses, and encapsulates a larger outlook to provide acknowledgement for the brands.
