Solarvest pens MoU to develop solar facilities at Selangor Smart Industrial Park


KUALA LUMPUR: Solarvest Bhd is exploring a collaboration with NCT Land Sdn Bhd to develop 1,000 units of solar ready factories and warehouses at the Selangor Smart Industrial Park.

The solar energy solutions provider said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the partnership will help to reduce the industrial and commercial carbon footprint.

"The scope of the MOU includes the provision of decarbonization service to NCT's local facilities.

"The joint development plan between both Parties will produce options in potential areas for further collaboration, including but not limited to Renewable Energy such as Solar and Bioenergy, Hydrogen, Energy Efficiency, and Electric Mobility," it said.

At 12.30pm, Solarvest was last traded at 68 sen a share, unchanged from the reference price, with 185,000 units exchanging hands.
