BDB appoints Mohd Iskandar as president and CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Darulaman Bhd (BDB) has appointed Mohd Iskandar Dzulkarnain Ramli as acting president and chief executive officer (CEO) effective from July 18.

Mohd Iskandar, 38, first joined BDB in 2014 as head of group corporate planning and enterprise risk management (GCPERM), where his primary role was to lead, monitor and coordinate the integrated business viability of the group's business strategy, assess risk on new business opportunities such as commercial development, land development and corporate exercises and its execution.

Upon his appointment as a chief operating officer in 2018, his primary role is to lead all the subsidiaries on operational matters, focusing on strategy and leading the turnaround of the company.

Prior to joining BDB, he served at numerous companies including Khazanah Nasional Bhd, Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd and Sapuracrest Bhd.

“The process to identify a new CEO has commenced and will be tabled to the board nomination, remuneration & ESOS committee (BNREC) and board for a decision,” BDB said in a Bursa filing.
