MN Holdings wins solar plant contract


The underground utilities and substation engineering specialist said its subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd received the RM12.2mil contract for the 50 megawatt plant at Tanjung Batu from ERS Energy Sdn Bhd.

KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd has bagged an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for high voltage systems and related works for a large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Pekan, Pahang.

The underground utilities and substation engineering specialist said its subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd received the RM12.2mil contract for the 50 megawatt plant at Tanjung Batu from ERS Energy Sdn Bhd.

It said MN Power will be responsible for the EPCC of a solar power plant interconnection facility for a 33 kilovolt (kV) medium-voltage system and 132kV high-voltage system, and solar power plant works for a 132kV high-voltage system.

Works for the contract is for a period of 13 months from July 15, 2022, to Aug 14, 2023.
