PETALING JAYA: Pharmaceutical firm Novartis Malaysia has set up a hybrid office in Plaza Imazium, Damansara Uptown, as part of its strategic growth strategy and commitment to future-proof its business.
Spread over two floors, Novartis Asia Aspiring Markets head Kevin Zou said the office redesigns the current work experience for its associates by placing flexibility at the core and prioritising human connections and collaborations.
“For Novartis to achieve its goal and its vision of reimagining medicine, it is critical for future work environments to go hand-in-hand with equally agile business environments,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Zou added that the country’s conducive and adaptive business-friendly support and infrastructure were a key component to the company’s current footprint that has expanded to more than 800 associates in Malaysia.
In 2021, Novartis Malaysia contributed over RM1bil to the country’s gross domestic product, with nearly a quarter coming from its business activities.
