Trading ideas: Ekovest, MN Holdings, MMAG, KYM, Capital A and AAX


KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Wednesday include Ekovest, MN Holdings, MMAG, KYM, Capital A and AAX, said JF Apex Research.

Ekovest Bhd won a RM1.98bil contract as the collaborating partner and engineering, procurement and construction contractor of the Rapid Transit System Link, MN Holdings Bhd bagged a RM26.9mil underground utilities contract in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.

MMAG Holdings Bhd is selling a 4,777-square-metre land located in Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park in Shah Alam, Selangor for RM20.2mil cash.

KYM Holdings Bhd has announced the retirement of its founder Datuk Lim Kheng Yew as well as the departure of executive chairman and four of its directors from its board.

Capital A is leasing one Airbus A330-343 from AAX for four months to ramp up seat capacity with a payment of RM16.9mil.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain sideways above the support of 1,428 points following the ongoing uncertainty.

The US market ended mixed overnight with the Dow posting a slight decline while the S&P and Nasdaq climbed following gains in technology counters.

Earlier, European stocks plunged following concerns of a recession.

Investors will be monitoring central banks announcements this week with the US Federal Reserve's minutes of meeting later today and European Central Bank accounts on its latest monetary policy meeting on Thursday as well as the US jobs report on Friday.
