Mudajaya secures RM104mil construction earthworks job in Kedah


KUALA LUMPUR: Mudajaya Group Bhd's subsidiary Mudajaya Corp Bhd has accepted a contract to undertake the construction of earthworks and associated works for RM104mil.

In a bourse filing, the group said the works pertaining to the designated platform level and access roads to the project site at Mukim Gurun and Bandar Gurun in Daerah Kuala Muda was for a 1,200 megawatt combined cycle gas power plant.

it said the contract is targeted to be completed by August 2023 with a construction period of 14 months.

"The project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending 31 December 2022 onwards," it said.
