Marine and General 4Q revenue rises


The company said revenue in the fourth quarter rose to RM63.24mil from RM46.79mil a year earlier. For the financial year ended April 30, 2022, the company reported a net loss of RM28.34mil compared with a net profit of RM9.05mil in the previous corresponding period.

PETALING JAYA: Marine and General Bhd reported a net profit of RM3.52mil for its fourth quarter ended April 30, 2022, compared with a net loss of RM10.27mil in the previous corresponding period, mainly due to higher contributions from both its upstream and downstream divisions.

The company said revenue in the fourth quarter rose to RM63.24mil from RM46.79mil a year earlier. For the financial year ended April 30, 2022, the company reported a net loss of RM28.34mil compared with a net profit of RM9.05mil in the previous corresponding period.
