KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC), through its task force, is evaluating the investigation report on allegations of a cartel in the chicken industry.
MyCC said if there was evidence of a cartel, a proposed decision under Section 36 of the Competition Act 2010 will be issued against the relevant parties.
It said in the event that there was no evidence to show elements of infringement, MyCC would close the investigation in line with Section 16 of the same Act. — Bernama
