KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Tuesday include Mynews Holdings Bhd, Sapura Energy Bhd, Reach Energy Bhd, AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) and Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX), according to JF Apex Research.
MyNews posted its ninth consecutive quarter in the red, with a net loss of RM10.22mil for 2QFY23.
Sapura Energy returned to the black in the 1QFY23 with a net profit of RM91.93mil.
MTD Capital Bhd has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of Reach Energy after disposing of a 10.36% stake or 114 million shares in the open market on June 24.
AAX announced the resignation of Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz as its chairman effective July 1.
DNeX signed a MoU with Saudi Arabia-based Ajlan & Bros Holding Group (Abilitii) to explore business synergy between the two companies.
Meanwhile, the US market was slightly lower overnight after last week's rebound as investors wait for June consumer confidence data to be released later today.
European stocks gained to extend their positive momentum.
“Following the recent uncertainty, the FBM KLCI could remain sideways above the support of 1,430 points,” JF Apex said.
