YTL REIT’s NAV per unit up 8% following revaluation


PETALING JAYA: A revaluation exercise by YTL Hospitality REIT (YTL REIT) on 15 of its properties has resulted in an aggregate valuation increase of RM212.04mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, YTL REIT said the revaluation exercise increased the company’s and its subsidiaries’ unaudited net asset value (NAV) per unit from RM1.5562 per unit as at May 31, 2022 to RM1.6806 per unit.

“The properties were revalued pursuant to the policy of revaluing the properties at least once during each financial year, which is in accordance with the requirements of Securities Commission's guidelines on the listed real estate investment trusts," it said.
