KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks that are in focus on Thursday include Omesti, Mestron, Kronologi, Axiata, Reservoir Link Energy, CIMB and Bioalpha, said JF Apex Research.

Omesti Bhd after winning a three-year contract for the leasing of personal computers for Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), amounting to RM25.31mil.

Mestron Holdings Bhd bagged a total of RM17.5mil worth of orders from telecommunication infrastructure companies since the start of the year, Kronologi Asia Bhd's net profit for 1QFY23 slumped 45% to RM2.21mil.

Axiata Group Bhd and PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) have completed the acquisition of 66.03% of PT Link Net Tbk (Link Net) for RM2.63bil.

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd will transfer its listing status to the Main Market from the ACE Market effective Monday (June 27).

CIMB Group Holdings Bhd confirmed the appointment of Chu Kok Wei and Novan Amirudin as co-chief executive officers (co-CEOs) of its group wholesale banking business effective July 18.

Bioalpha Holdings Bhd has formed a joint venture (JV) with Shanghai-listed Suzhou Medicalsystems Technology Co Ltd to supply health supplement products in the China market with and investment of RM3.9mil.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could retest the support at 1,415 points after its recent plunge.

The US market ended slightly lower after the Federal Reserve chairman said the central bank is committed to bring down inflation and recession is possible.

Earlier, European stocks declined after UK inflation hit a 40-year high.
