Handal bags five contracts


The company said Handal Cranes accepted a one-off PO for the fabrication of a new crane from PT Meindo Elang Indah, a leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor from Indonesia, for Pertamina.

KUALA LUMPUR: Handal Energy Bhd, a leading integrated services provider to the oil and gas industry, has secured four new purchase orders (PO) and one contract extension, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Handal Cranes Sdn Bhd and 51%-owned subsidiary, Borneo Seaoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd (BSOE).

The company said Handal Cranes accepted a one-off PO for the fabrication of a new crane from PT Meindo Elang Indah, a leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor from Indonesia, for Pertamina.

BSOE recently secured a one-year contract extension from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of pipeline isolation and additional scope for the provision of a riser corrosion prevention system and maintenance.

BSOE also secured a one-off PO from Shell for the provision of vendor support for alternating current field measurement and equipment and personnel at one of the latter’s facilities offshore Sarawak, as well as a one-off PO from E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd for the provision of positive isolation by mechanical plug for one of its clients. — Bernama
