KUALA LUMPUR: There could be trading interest in Scientex, Coastal Contracts, Anzo, Berjaya Food, Bermaz Auto, Nestcon, InNature and Ecofirst Consolidated, according to JF Apex Research.

Scientex Bhd’s 3QFY22 net profit fell 19.6% yoy to RM88.33mil from RM109.88mil.

Coastal Contracts Bhd has secured a charter contract for a vessel and the extension of an existing charter contract for a liftboat, for a total value of RM252mil.

Bursa has granted Anzo Holdings Bhd a further extension of time until Oct 31 to submit its regularisation plan.

Berjaya Food Bhd has proposed a bonus issue of up to 1.56 billion shares on the basis of four bonus shares for every one share held.

Bermaz Auto Bhd's 4QFY22 net profit grew 17.8% yoy to RM78.7mil.

Nestcon Bhd has accepted a letter of award to be the principal contractor to undertake the construction and completion of the main building and infrastructure works for RM118.05mil.

Innature Bhd is disposing of its entire 2.6 million shares and 5.2 million redeemable preference shares in its wholly-owned subsidiary Ola Beleza Sdn Bhd to Natura Cosmetics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd for RM2.04mil cash.

EcoFirst Consolidated Bhd has proposed a private placement to raise up to RM22.09mil for working capital purposes.

Meanwhile, JF Apex noted that US markets plunged overnight with the S&P500 entering a bear market following expectations of a 75 basis point rate hike after May inflation hit a 40-year high.

European markets also tanked as an inverted yield curve raised concerns of a recession.
