New feed-in-tariff quota bidding to open in August

PUTRAJAYA: Bidding applications for the new Feed-in Tariff (FiT) quota for non-solar resources will be opened in August this year, said Energy and Natural Resources Minister Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan.

He said the quota of up to 187 megawatts (MW) includes 30MW each for biogas and biomass sources and 127MW for small hydropower sources.
