KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Friday include Top Glove Corp Bhd, Genting Bhd, Protasco Bhd, Kerjayta Prospek Group Bhd, Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd, Deleum Bhd and PRG Holdings Bhd, according to JF Apex Research.

Top Glove’s 3QFY22 net profit slump 82.53% quarter-on-quarter to RM15.29mil.

Genting chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay holds over nine million of his indirectly held shares as the stock’s price rose to pre-Covid-19 pandemic levels.

Protasco’s 70%-owned subsidiary Permint Granide-HCM Sdn Bhd has won a contract extension for maintenance of minor roads in Terengganu for RM171.84mil.

Kerjaya Prospek has increased its order book target for 2022 to RM1.5bil after achieving its earlier target of RM1.2bil.

Serba Dinamik has appointed former Deputy Agriculture Minister Tan Sri Mohd Shariff Omar as an independent director.

Tan Sri Shamsul Azhar Abbas has been appointed as an independent director of Deleum.

PRG’s 54.19%-owned subsidiary Furniweb Holdings Ltd has entered into a conditional share sale agreement with Energy Solution Global Ltd (ESGL) to acquire its remaining 62.75% equity interest for RM31.42mil in cash and new shares issuance.

Separately, the US market plunged overnight as investors brace for the May inflation data to be released later today.

Similarly, European stocks tumbled after the European Central Bank said it will raise interest rates next month.
