KUALA LUMPUR: Investors could be focused stocks with recent corporate announcements including Tenaga Nasional, Brahim's, Serba Dinamik, FGV, AMMB, Alliance Bank, Datasonic, PPB, CIMB, Bank Islam, Kenanga Investment Bank, Panasonic and ATAM IMS, according to JF Apex Research.

Tenaga Nasional Bhd has signed a coal import agreement with Indonesia’s coal exporters worth RM13.14bil for three years.

PN17 company Brahim’s Holdings Bhd will be delisted on June 3.

Petronas has renewed Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd licence to continue offering supply and services for a one-year term.

Companies with improved quarterly results include FGV Holdings Bhd, AMMB Holdings Bhd, Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd, and Datasonic Group Bhd.

Companies with declined quarterly earnings, were PPB Group Bhd, CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd, Panasonic Manufacturing Malaysia Bhd and ATA IMS Bhd.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could face profit-taking and consolidate below the resistance of 1,615 points following yesterday's rally.

The US market declined overnight amid corporate earnings and the Federal Reserve's plan to start reducing its balance sheet in June.

Similarly, European stocks tumbled after the Euro zone's May inflation exceeded expectations.
