PetDag first-quarter net profit at RM118.5mil

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group said it is optimistic about maintaining growth recovery with the encouraging economic factors while remaining cautious towards the volatility of crude oil prices that could impact its financial performance and liquidity.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Dagangan Bhd’s (PetDag) net profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022 declined to RM118.49mil from RM191.11mil a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter jumped to RM7.62bil from RM5.14bil previously following higher sales volume by 20% and increased average selling prices by 24%.
