Digi CEO takes temporary leave of absence


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Digi said Albern will remain active in his role in the corporate exercise pertaining to the proposed merger of Digi and Celcom Axiata Bhd, and will continue to be available to the management and board of directors during his absence.

PETALING JAYA: Digi.Com Bhd chief executive officer Albern Murty will be taking a temporary leave of absence effective April 28 due to family health reasons.

Digi chief marketing officer Praveen Rajan will be attending the CEO-related duties and responsibilities on an acting basis as Albern is expected to return in the second half of 2022.
