Rising logistics costs hit exporters, causing them to decline orders

HANOI: Rising logistic costs are hindering exports, putting firms at risk.

Le Thi My Hanh, general director of Banana Brother Farm JSC, noted that costs had increased by three to four million Vietnamese dong (US$131 to US$175 or RM547 to RM730) per truck to transport bananas from growing regions to border gates or seaports.
