KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Heavy Industries Corp
Bhd has appointed Datuk Nasarruddin M. Zin to its board as an independent non-executive director, effective Jan 27, 2022.
The group said in a statement that Nasarrudin, 58, is curently the executive director of Aoga Sdn Bhd and N2R Sdn Bhd, as well as a director of Malaysia Co-operation Institute, director of Port Klang Free Zone Sdn Bhd and chairman of Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital Board of Visitors.
Previously, he sat on the board of Port Klang Authority and the Board of Pembinaan Setia Abadi Sdn Bhd.
He was also an advisor to Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd and Sapura Defence Sdn Bhd.
Nasarruddin holds a bachelor of science in business administration (management) from California State University in Sacremento, US.
"BHIC looks forward to him sharing his vast experience in navigating the Group towards becoming a high performing organisation, in line with the Reinventing Boustead strategy to set the Boustead Group on a stronger footing towards attaining sustainable growth," it said.
