PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is among five of the Asean seven constituents that have reported an improvement in the manufacturing conditions during the closing month of 2021, according to the IHS Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) data.
IHS Markit yesterday said Malaysia’s manufacturing PMI rose to 52.8 in December 2021 from 52.3 in November, indicating a stronger improvement in the health of the sector.
