RM83mil set aside for flood victims via GDRN


Tengku Zafrul said the GLICs and GLCs will contribute RM58mil to address the floods, an increase of over 100% compared with RM25mil announced previously.

KUALA LUMPUR: Funds amounting to RM83mil including grants of RM25mil by the government is being channelled through government-linked companies (GLCs) and government-linked investment companies (GLICs) Disaster Recovery Network (GDRN) to help flood victims, said Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

He said the GLICs and GLCs will contribute RM58mil to address the floods, an increase of over 100% compared with RM25mil announced previously.
