S P Setia wins BCI Asia Top 10 developers award for the 10th time since 2011


S P Setia executive vice-president Datuk Tan Hon Lim (pic) described the win as a significant accomplishment, and a milestone reached after sustaining the group’s track record at BCI Asia Awards KL for a decade, reinforcing the group as one of the top leaders in the property industry.

PETALING JAYA: S P Setia Bhd has been conferred the Top 10 Developers Award at the BCI Asia Awards 2021 (BCIAA) award ceremony recently.

The property developer noted it was a recognition it has garnered for 10 years since 2011.

“We are truly honoured to receive the BCI Asia Awards for the 10th time. To receive this award is a big testament to our company’s vision ‘To Be The Best In All We Do’,” Tan said in a statement.

“S P Setia has, beyond the Malaysian shores, carved a strong presence internationally, namely in Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, China, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

“Locally, we have an extensive reach across the three key economic regions, namely Klang Valley, Johor Baru and Penang. In addition to that, our project can also be found in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah,” he said in the statement.The BCI Asia awards are bestowed to developers with the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year, weighted by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed green building ratings.

Winning developers are recognised for their efforts in shaping the built environment of tomorrow, enabling the market to better understand the important roles that they play and their impact, both socially and on the environment.
