KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI retraced all its gains to end slightly in the red at midday as a trading halt in Hong Kong's China Evergrande rattled sentiment and investors locked in profits from the early-morning rally.
At 12.30pm, the country's key index was down 0.82 points to 1,523.66, raising the likelihood of an extended downtrend that had begun in September.
