Engineering, construction segments boost WCT’s revenue


“The group remains optimistic of the economic recovery with the implementation of the first phase of the National Recovery Plan and the gradual transition of the phases upon achieving herd immunity with the rollout of vaccines,” said its group managing director Datuk Lee Tuck Fook.

PETALING JAYA: WCT Holdings Bhd’s net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021 more than doubled to RM16.1mil from RM7.4mil a year ago on the back of a corresponding year-on-year (y-oy) rise in revenues to RM435.6mil from RM375mil.

Basic earnings per share for the quarter was at 1.15 sen compared to 0.53 sen in the preceding year’s corresponding period.
