Ta Ann optimistic of a turnaround in its timber operations

KUCHING: Ta Ann Holdings Bhd expects its timber business to return to profitability in view of the rise in housing demand in several countries.

The Sarawak-based timber and plantation company said it is optimistic of a turnaround for its group’s timber segment, particularly due to the shortage of raw materials and increase in housing demand in Australia, the United States and other consuming countries.
