Ideas: New govt must work immediately to resolve crises


The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas) chief executive officer Tricia Yeoh said she hoped the new government under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s administration would carry on with key initiatives that are already in place, including the National Recovery Plan and National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas) is urging the new government to work immediately to resolve the twin pandemic and economic crises currently faced by the nation.

In a statement, chief executive officer Tricia Yeoh said she hoped the new government under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s administration would carry on with key initiatives that are already in place, including the National Recovery Plan and National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
