HB Global returns to the black in Q2


HB Global said there was a sharp recovery in revenue for both of its ready-to-serve food and frozen vegetable business segments.

PETALING JAYA: HB Global Ltd posted a net profit of RM5.85mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021 (Q2’FY21), compared with a net loss of RM1.9mil in the corresponding period of last year on cost savings. The company said this was the strongest quarterly net profit since Q4’FY17.

During the quarter under review, the group’s revenue rose to RM22.1mil from RM13.05mil in the previous corresponding quarter.
