SAM unaware of reasons for share spike

KUALA LUMPUR: Sam Engineering and Equipment (M) Bhd is unaware of the reasons for the sharp rise in its share price to a record of RM10.80 amid strong volume last Friday.

In a reply to Bursa Securities yesterday, the company said it was not aware of any rumours or report concerning its business and affairs that may account for the trading activity.
