MMHE optimistic about future opportunities

MIDF Research: “Meanwhile, the marine business continues to be challenged by border restrictions. “Limited opportunities and fierce competition in tenders are persisted by foreign clients who opt for shipyards in countries with more relaxed border restrictions, lower Covid-19 cases and higher vaccination rate.”

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd’s (MMHE) resilient conduct over the past six months is set to open up new strategies and initiatives that the company is planning to undertake in the near term.

According to MIDF Research, these include expanding the market for existing marine and heavy engineering business segments; realising opportunities to secure renewable energy and modular structure projects; enhancing existing and future infrastructure and machineries; and increasing in-house job scopes.
