Gloves top losers, weigh on KLCI

KUALA LUMPUR: Glove makers were among the top losers in early Tuesday trade, with Hartalega and Top Glove weighing on the FBM KLCI.

At 9.55am, the KLCI was down 0.31 of a point or 0.02% to 1,492.69. Turnover was 921.45 million shares valued at RM488.63mil. Decliners beat advancers 366 to 278 while 357 counters were unchanged.

Hartalega fell 12 sen to RM6.91 and Top Glove 11 sen lower at RM3.81.

Kossan lost nine sen to RM3.24 and Supermax seven sen to RM3.13.
