KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata, Kerjaya Prospek, Westports, Maxis and Unisem are among the companies which could attract trading interest on Monday after their corporate news, JF Apex Research said.

In its report, it said Axiata has proposed to acquire a 66.3% stake in PT Link Net Tbk, an internet service and cable television provider in Indonesia.

Kerjaya Prospek has accepted a letter of award from Damansara Peak Sdn Bhd, an indirect subsidiary of Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O), worth RM139mil.

Malakoff has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Koperasi Polis Diraja Malaysia Bhd to study the feasibility of jointly developing rooftop solar projects at selected police buildings.

Westports’ 2QFY21 net profit rose by 32.48% yoy, largely due to higher container revenue.

Mi Technovation’s net profit for 2QFY21 soared 43.58%YoY, underpinned by higher sales revenue.

Maxis’ 2QFY21 net profit rose 5.26% YoY as revenue increased.

Unisem's 2QFY21 net profit rose 60.9% YoY on higher sales volume and selling prices, as well as better interest income
