KUALA LUMPUR: Ramssol Group Bhd, Kumpulan H & L High-Tech, Teladan Setia Group Bhd, AWC Bhd, Parkson Holdings Bhd and Straits Inter Logistics Bhd are among the stocks to watch on Tuesday, according to JF Apex Research.

Ramssol is making its listing debut on the ACE market today.

Kumpulan H&L High-Tech said it is in the final stages of negotiating for an investment property purchase, and is exploring options to develop its landbank, in a response to Bursa Malaysia's unusual market activity (UMA) query.

Teladan Setia has proposed a bonus issue on the basis of three warrants for every 10 shares held to reward its shareholders.

AWC is confident of better times ahead, as the group bit the bullet to undertake a kitchen sinking exercise amid the start of the Covid-19 outbreak last year.

The group is banking on its new rail business to catalyse growth going forward, on top of the existing RM1bil order book for its engineering jobs.

Parkson Holdings’ 54.97%-owned Hong Kong-listed subsidiary Parkson Retail Group Ltd (PRGL) has inked a 20-year tenancy agreement for a commercial space measuring 39,966 sq m in the city of Yichun, China.

Straits Inter Logistics said Victoria STS (Labuan) Sdn Bhd, an indirect subsidiary of the group, has received a letter of approval from the Marine Department Malaysia for the development of a ship-to-ship energy transshipment hub to provide and carry out liquid cargo transfer activities in Labuan.

Hextar Global has acquired chemical derivatives, coating and related products manufacturer and supplier Nobel Group for RM105mil.

The group said the acquisition comes with a profit guarantee of an aggregate of RM42mil over three years which translates into an after-tax profit of RM14mil per year.

AirAsia is making a cash call to its shareholders to raise up to RM1.02bil.

The airline has proposed to undertake a renounceable two-for-six rights issue of redeemable convertible unsecured Islamic debt securities (RCUIDS), on the basis of two RCUIDS with one free detachable warrant for every six AirAsia shares held.

Pasukhas and Vsolar have inked a collaborative agreement to provide engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) services to the solar farm industry.

Meanwhile, the US market rose to record high overnight in anticipation of strong earnings from the banking sector.

Similarly, European stocks climbed to all-time highs as investors looked ahead to second quarter earnings from US banks with JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs reporting their results later today.

“Following the recent sluggish performance, the FBM KLCI is expected to trend sideways above the support of 1,500 points,” JF Apex said.
