NEW YORK: Jamie Salter always had big ambitions.Though he started Authentic Brands Group Inc with lesser-known consumer names, he spent much of the last decade vacuuming up ailing but widely recognised brands like Barneys New York, Sports Illustrated and Brooks Brothers.
