Kenanga lifts earnings outlook on Bermaz Auto


Bermaz Auto Bhd, the official distributor of Mazda cars and spare parts in Malaysia, yesterday issued two sukuk wakalah programmes worth RM1bil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kenanga Research has raised its earnings forecast on Bermaz Auto Bhd on the back of estimate-beating results in FY21.

The research house said FY21 Patami of RM133.9mil beat its and consensus projections by 51% and 40% due to a higher-than-expected margin from cost savings, the end of aggressive promotions and lower A&P costs with the extension of SST exemption.
