PUTRAJAYA: Foreign investment into Malaysia in 2020 dropped by 54.8% to RM14.6bil, the lowest since 2009 (RM5.1bil), stated the Department of Statistics.
In a statement, chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said economic activities were severely disrupted globally in 2020 in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
