Pharmaniaga shares jump on vaccine rollout


Group managing director Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope (pic) said the key focus was aimed at economic frontliners among the government-linked companies, private firms, foreign workers and expatriates in this country.

PETALING JAYA: Pharmaniaga Bhd’s share price rose 18 sen to RM5.34 on news it has embarked on an initiative to supply the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine to state governments and the private sector.

In a statement issued after its virtual shareholders meeting yesterday, the company said the initiative was to complement the government’s effort to achieve herd immunity and economic recovery at a faster pace.
