Quick take: DNeX rises on Hon Hai acquisition


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX) rose in early trade following news that Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd has acquired a substantial stake in the company.

The energy and IT services company rose 4.68%, or four sen to 89.5 sen. It is currently the most actively traded counter on Bursa Malaysia with 165 million shares done. DNeX-WD added 9.84%, or three sen to 33.5 sen with 82 million shares traded.
